Derivation from Honesty
By: John Kelley
Derivate from the standards of society:
One begging for peace and some harmony.
We keep drudging through the depths of our malady,
When all we ever need is some clarity.
Our mind’s eye sees all this misery,
As we toil and struggle so tirelessly,
Though problems arise that we fail to see –
Death springs up in the steps of those who flee.
The method of my madness is literary.
Discordinance seems to be the preferred harmony,
But all I ever want is some honesty,
So why can’t it ever be given easily?

I can't keep my promises
Cause I don't know what's safe
Oh, me of little faith..."
