<edit> Before I forget: Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, everyone! </edit>

Alas, I am one year the older and STILL none the wiser.

. . . unless you count being a wise-ass.

Ah well.

I'm not dead: not quite, anyways. I'd give an update to the existence of that thing called I (Call I? Calleth I? And I called myself I) but it'd be pretty boring. Honestly, no one wants to hear about it (and if you do, feel free to ask something specific, because I suck at this general-catch-all-update shit anyways).

I'm too damn tired. Does it seem wrong to be burnt-out only 4 weeks into the semester? Whatever.

Anyways, the point I actually meant to make here in my all-too-discollected, disconnected, and otherwise rambling way is that I'm trying to get back around here. Really, I am . . . but my schedule prevents me from having free time wherein I actually want to stare at a monitor (I do that enough in class) so I won't bullshit you; i'm still probably going to be much more scarce than I want to be.

There are over 600 messages/updates/etc.. waiting for me. I'll try to hit the most recent things (or at least the journals to see how everyone is doing) if possible. If there's anything in particular that you want me to take a look at just let me know and I'll try do what I can.

Yet again I managed to miss my point entirely. How's this, then: HELLO! How's everyone doing? Any good news? Does it involve animals? It's not a gerbil, is it?

Gerbilgasm: over and out.

Floating in that void between my ears.

I realized that I haven't updated this damn journal in a long time. Here goes.

Well, I turned 21 as of December 14th :woot: Oddly enough, I haven't made much use of that fact really but that's mainly due to exhaustion. Mr. JD is calling to me I think.

Beyond that, I worked over much of my break (paid for my books this semester at least) and before I knew it another semester was upon me. I'm not really taking that many classes, but I have some very demanding professors who are not afraid to be blunt and say, "It sucks. Do it again," after you've spent many hours on one of their projects. Bleh.

Days should have at least 48 hours to work with. When I get free time it's usually spent winding down so that I can actually sleep. The reason I bring it up is because I've been meaning to do some writing . . . but can't seem to concentrate or utilize what little free time I have. Tried to a few times; think I only wrote a whopping half a page. I suppose I'll try again soon.

What else do I have to report on? New Years (aka amateur night ;)) was pretty fun . . . until the next day rolled around.

All in all, its been a pretty boring existence lately.

An update on the existence of me:

Halfway through the semester now and I don't think I've ever been so buried by projects and work before. Goddamn, my scheduling ability sucks. The kicker is that I've actually been working hard to keep up with my workload and still I find myself behind. Bleh. Don't expect to see me on too often for a few weeks ;) (as if I've been active for the past 10 or so anyways . . .)

To add to my workload, I picked up a job. I'm now whoring myself out to a website to try to fix some of the many design flaws that are present. At least it's CLOSE to my field of study. Not quite there though. It'll only be about ten hours a week (and $10 an hour for now since I'm still a student) but at least it's money.

That is me. Over and out.

Back?

Ok, so I'm not completely dead. Not COMPLETELY. The time for a new semester has come once again, the dreaded classes begin tomorrow, and I find myself rather depressed in the wake. I had a lot I wanted to accomplish over the summer and got practically nothing done except work.

You may have noticed my absence over the past few months . . . or you may have not depending on how astute you are :P However . . . well, I may be back again now at least a little more regularly. The only thing I actually like about dorm life is the internet connection (when it works). :D I'm way behind on reading/viewing/commenting but over time I'll try to catch up at least partly - could be a while. I'm ONLY about 3 months behind ;)

About me submitting anything . . . I dunno, I'm going to have a pretty big load this semester. We'll see. Anyways, a fond hello goes out to all of Ze Mad Ones (tm) who I've not had a chance to chat with in ages
